Plain English: By using ToneFit, you agree to these terms. We provide a guitar tone research service. Paid plans give you unlimited access. You can cancel anytime. Don't misuse the service.
1 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ToneFit ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use ToneFit. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and subscribers.
2 Description of Service
ToneFit is a web-based guitar tone matching service that uses AI to research and adapt guitar tone settings from popular songs to your specific gear setup. The Service includes:
- AI-powered tone research for any song and artist
- Gear-adapted amp, EQ, and effects settings
- A searchable gear database of guitars, amps, pedals, and multi-FX units
- Saved tone library and gear preset management
- Community tone database
3 Account Registration
To access paid features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Keep your password secure and not share it with others
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
- Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- Be at least 13 years old to create an account
4 Subscription Plans & Billing
Plans
- Free — Limited tone searches per month
- Beginner — Monthly subscription with expanded access
- Expert — Monthly subscription with unlimited access and premium features
Billing
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
- Payments processed securely via Paddle
- We never store your payment card details
- Prices are listed in USD
Cancellation & Refunds
- Cancel your subscription anytime from account settings
- Cancellation takes effect at end of current billing period
- Full refund within 14 days of your first payment — no questions asked

5 Free Trial
- New users get access to a limited number of tone researches for free
- No credit card required for the free tier
- Trial limitations are clearly displayed within the app
- Upgrading to a paid plan unlocks full access immediately
6 Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the service or AI outputs at scale
- Share account credentials or resell access
- Overload systems through automated requests or bots
- Upload malicious code or harmful content
- Impersonate other users or ToneFit staff
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension without refund.
7 Intellectual Property
All content on ToneFit — including the website design, AI system, database, and branding — is owned by ToneFit. Tone research results are for your personal use only. Song names, artist names, and gear brand names are trademarks of their respective owners. ToneFit is not affiliated with any artist, record label, or gear manufacturer.
8 Disclaimers
ToneFit provides tone research as a guide — results are AI-generated and may not be 100% accurate. We make no guarantees that tone results will exactly replicate the original artist's sound or work identically across all gear. Always use your own judgment when applying settings.
9 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ToneFit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding any claim.
10 Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. You may delete your account anytime from account settings. Your saved data will be retained for 30 days after deletion, then permanently removed.
11 Governing Law
ToneFit is operated by ToneFit. These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Chhattisgarh, India.
